We strive to make our customers’ experiences easy and seamless by staying thoroughly educated on the latest glazing products and by offering a complete service package from product recommendations and design assistance through installation.
Our History
Valley Glass & Mirror is a family-owned business with an exceptional history in the glazing industry since 1960. Currently owned by Chris & Ryan Hageman, the third generation of Hageman’s to manage the business, proceeded by Michael (father) & Malcolm (grandfather) but the roots of the family trade extend much earlier.
Right around the turn of the 19th century, Michael’s great-grandfather, Otto Zahn, emigrated from Germany to Kansas City, Kansas and began working as a glazier. Many years later, Mal Hageman took up the trade and started working in the same glass shop as his grandfather. Mal eventually moved to Santa Barbara and took a job with Fuller Paint and Glass. For a couple years in the 1950’s, Mal and his family were sent to Panama to manage Fuller’s Central America division. Upon returning to the United States, Mal continued working for Fuller Paint and Glass in Santa Maria until he branched out on his own and founded Valley Glass & Mirror.
Today, Valley Glass & Mirror is recognized by many as the leader in the local glass and glazing industry. We strive to build on our solid foundation of experience to provide the best products and services in all facets of our trade.
